Wonderfully quiet and cool
We love this unit. Our house has a loft that is 10 to 20 degrees hotter than the main floor. As we live in the high mountain desert this can be quite hot!

Overall good, but definitely not “library quiet”
I appreciate the information given by the other reviewers, especially the noise issue. Had it not been one of the reviews which discussed the noise level, I could have returned…

So far So good
I have only had the unit for one day but so far I am very impressed. The unit is way quieter than the 7,000 btu GE unit it replaced.

Sleeping easy
We have this in our bedroom and used it all last summer. No AC in our house and it gets very hot in Portland Oregon in the summer.
