Sturdy unit, Good cooling power
I bought a cheap $300 unit 12,000 btu unit from a very reputable large warehouse store. The first unit lasted a week. *clunk* dead. I sent it back on warranty.

poor performance
Do not buy this product. I am very disappointed in the product. It does not cool or heat as noted in the product description.

great
Works great as long as you are patient with the directions and willing to play with it to figure out how to make it work the way you want. Directions are really bad.
